I am so pleased I chose The Spire Hospital in Reading when I was initially referred to the pain clinic for chronic back and nerve pain. After jumping through the various NHS hoops (hypothetically of course!), I was offered an MRI straight away by Dr Ravindran so he could diagnose the problem causing my pain - a large central disc bulge. I have since had a couple of treatments performed by Dr Ravindran, the most successful being the radio frequency to 're-set' the nerve. He always explains everything thoroughly, treats you as an individual and has a very happy disposition. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a doctor and would like to thank him for taking me and my symptoms seriously after feeling overlooked by other healthcare professionals.

I have seen Dr Ravindran for the past 7 years with nerve pain which is difficult to treat, however he will never give up and when treatments don't work, he will explore alternative medicines. He is caring, listening and very personable - he will always make time for you. I have seen him in situations where I have been in pain and he has fitted me in at the end of his clinics. He has given up his own time to fit me in (probably when he wanted to go home!) and this is a credit to him. I would fully recommend him and at times I would've been stuck without him! He is truly fantastic.

Very sympathetic to my person circumstances. Great appreciation of wider treatment options such as nutrition and hydration.

Deepak has been treating me for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrone for some years now with lidocaine infusions. Not only has he given me my life back in terms of helping my mobility and pain levels to give me quality of life but he always has the time to listen to what I have to say with numerous questions I ask of him and always answers honestly but reassuringly. Deepak always starts up my infusion and at regular intervals checks to see how I am. He is a very kind man who I trust implicitly with my care and feel he is a wonderful asset to the team. I truly don't know what I would do without him. Yes 100% I would reccomend him as a doctor at pain management.

After suffering with chronic back pain for over 3 years and feeling like no one was listening I finally met Dr Ravindran. He listened ordered all the relevant tests and treatment started. Following the long awaited mri scan the Dr was able to see where the pain was (I had advised numerous time to other medical staff that this was where the pain came from) and he started the injections that to this date have changed my life. The mri also took the fear away about other worries concerning the pain. The current treatment has given me my life back. Dr Ravindran is always polite, patient and takes the time to listen which is so important.
